Having grown as a musician himself under the tutelage of an outstanding violinist, composer, and former Assistant Professor of the Moscow Conservatory and Professor of the Latvian Academy of Music, Indulis Dalmanis, as well as having associated with many soloists with whom he has performed as a conductor, all his observations and personal experiences have led Imant Airea to teach music to students in a very accessible way. He leads practice that is enjoyable and effortless, helping overcome obstacles every step of the way. Airea takes a very individual approach to everyone depending on their needs and capabilities, and approaches students holistically and compassionately, fully invested in their success. Ultimately, his teaching style is marked with love and patience, helping students of all ages connect with their passion for music.
